Just noticed that your recipe calls for half the juice from the jar of peppers and 1/4 cup water. I never added these or any liquids and still had plenty of juice. I also threw a container of fresh sliced mushrooms over the top and that was excellent as well...
I may make this tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me about this recipe

I looked over a bunch if these recipes and some said add the 1/4 cup water and some didnt...some said use the whole jar of liquid and some said only half...
Found one that was kinda in the middle and went with it....
I've mixed different versions of the same recipe before with great success. Liquid shouldn't hurt, I may try it myself. Now I want some roast and it's too late in the day to start it!
Not to derail, but my brother wants to get a six pack of pbr tattooed on his stomach lol
