Pot roast tonight....

Found a fun recipe for pot roast online that got a ton of positive feedback..

I don't usually use my crock pot but I had to dig it out of the back of the cabinet for this one.


I'll let yall know how she turns out.

3lbs chuck roast
1 packet of Au ju mix
1 packet of Ranch dressing mix
1 stick butter
A few peppercini peppers and half the jar of juice.
1/4 cup water
8 hours on low.

Let us know how it is. My wife has made some tender juice ribs in a crock pot. I think just throw them in and a tiny amount of water.

Saw that recipe some time back and bought all the fixings, but haven't bought the roast yet. My recipe calls for the whole jar of peppers.

I do this all the time - it is AWESOME.
I did cut the butter in half and it still comes out fine.
I use packaged brown gravy mix and zesty Italian dressing packets to change it up occasionally.
