Swamp Cooler....

Had swamp coolers in every home for military while I was stationed in Woomers, South Australia. No A/C, none!
They actually work very well. It would be 100-115 degrees out side and it would keep it around 75 inside. Plus give you the added moister to breath. Humidity was around 15-20 percent during the summer months. Not much better in the winter months.
