This.

there was a time when my 28” barrel Remington 870 was my hone defense, zombie defense, skeet, trap, hunting and end of the world only firearm.

then I scraped and saved and bought a Walther p99 to carry and for around the house.

I had no business with any more than that and couldn’t afford it anyway. ThAt was thankfully a good few years ago and I laugh that now the grips on my carry now cost more than that p99 and my holster is more than that 870.
