A pool table is one thing you should never buy NEW. Used is plenty good enough even if you have to install new cushions and cloth. They never wear out, and folks that are moving almost give them away. I learned to play on old A. E. Schmidt tables in the 1950/60s that were 80 years old then. Heavy as a car with 2 inch slate, played great.
