Plumbing question

This faucet is dripping. Is this a $1 or a $100 fix? What do I need to stop the drip?

Rubber seals in cartridge may be old or have gunk on them. YouTube can show you how. Parts at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Be sure to turn off water to valvr

Try to find a 'commercial' cartridge, not retail. At least twice the cost, but in my experience many times the life.

Replace the seats and springs in the cartridge. They’re 5 bucks at Home Depot. Make sure to use Delta and not the off brand. Simple fix.

Note which way it came out! Apparently, mine had been in backwards. I didn't get good flow and paid a plumber to figure it out

You REALLY have to pay attention to rotational position of the cartridge when you take it out and make sure you're putting the new one back in the same way... learned that the hard way.. You also have to make a note of the position of the handle. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!!

$1 part. Orings. Did mine several years ago. Lowes has a kit with orings and other little bits, not much moneys.
