Have any of y'all tried shooting at playing cards, real or low-quality images or copies of playing cards, to make yourselves "hands" of poker?

My friends and I did this with a .22LR rifle (scoped, 4X) at 50 feet today.
It was too easy, thanks to the scope. A few times we tied with royal flushes.
I think with an open-sighted pistol with a 4" to 5" barrel, it would be more of a challenge.

For a scoped rifle, maybe 50 yards would be a good distance (for shooting from the unsupported standing position).

We used real cards, which came from WalMart, and only cost $1 for the deck.

We did a few dozen "hands" with the same cards, plugging or patching the bullet holes as needed.

We put our cards on a corrogated cardboard sheet, and spaced them out so we had an inch of plain cardboard to "miss" in between each card. So in our game, you weren't guaranteed a hit on "some" card with each pull of the trigger.

I'm thinking that if you and a friend were to challenge each other with
short-barreled concealed carry handguns, open sights only,

especially double-action type pistols or revolvers, in respectable centerfire calibers,

with the cards out at maybe 7 yards, you wouldn't be getting any straights, flushes, or full houses. Most likely a pair would win the hand. Maybe even a high card.

we finished the day with my 20 gauge shotgun, cylinder choke 18.5" barrel, shooting the cards from
5 yards. The shot pattern was about 3" at that distance, and a well-centered hit just made the entire playing card disappear. Gone. Just a black hole the size of a softball where the card used to be.

I seen some people at the range one time that had targets that looked like the game battleship. That was neat. Seen playing cards too, or at least targets that look like them.

That would be fun with a 22 pistol at 50

Wow, I have never done this, and I have never heard of something similar, however it sounds like something really really interesting. I would really like to play such a game, however I think that using some pistols would be way more interesting. Actually, I am a great poker fan, and I am playing it almost on a daily basis, however during the tougher times of the pandemic it was way tougher. I mean, I could not meet my friends, so I had to play online. Honestly, it is not that I hate playing online, it is really great, however it is not the same atmosphere. Actually, during the last couple of months, I have been earning my living out of gambling, and mostly doing it on https://lambo2btc.com/ethereum_casino as it is the best crypto casino and is one of the most reliable ones as well.
