It's an awesome hobby. I live in Cartersville, 2 miles from the Etowah river, we paddle 2-3 times a week. I feel compleatly at peace in a kayak in the middle of this river.

He will probably end up with this. Since it is a Bass Pro/ Cabela's brand, he gets a huge discount. I have talked to people that have them . They are big and heavy, but very stable and are good in flat water. We mostly paddle the Etowah, which is slow, so this would work well for him.

That's exactly what 'he' should get especially with a huge discount.

We haven't. That is north of us above the lake. I really want to do it.

Love taking my kayak out with my dog...I do not have a photo with us in it, however the next time we kayak I will take one.

Only pics I would have would be under water. I'm horrible at it. Went on a 3 hour float and flipped 8 times. My buddies said if I ever went again they were gonna put a gopro on me so they could laugh later!
