Pics of your DIY polished slides

I bought a used gen 3 g17 and it had some wear from the holster so I decided to polish the slide and it actually turned out pretty cool,

If you've done your slide post some pics and tell how you did it just curious on other people's success and what they used.

What I used- 800/ 1000/ 2000 grit sandpaper and a dremel for some areas then used never dull polishing cloth in a can. Im sure there was probably a better polish but it was what I had laying around. I was happy with my results considering I had doubts it would be that easy, I plan on hitting it again to get a cleaner more polished look.

I have found that Flitz does a good job. Slide looks good!

Looks good; if you want a mirror finish try red jewelers rouge with a felt pad on your dremal; fast and you can use the reflection to check your makeup!

From what I've read glocks are treated with a tennifer coating that shouldn't rust when polished, but I did sand mine so I guess will see, but so far no rust.

I thought the same thing but said to myself f#%k it there's always dura coat lol!
