Pepperbox pistols

Anyone know anything about Pepperbox pistols? It was part of my dads collection and now it belongs to my mom and she wants more information on it. It has no markings that I can find and I don't know the caliber. It has three barrels. Supposedly the grip is inlaid in silver, gold, and pearl. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

I know of a European guy that owns one of these but has converted it to fire live ammunition. They're 26.5mm, same as the Eastern Bloc surplus flare guns you see on the marketplace. Inserts are readily available and you can even get flares (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/prod...rplus-265mm-signal-flares-40-rounds?a=1591155). They go for a minimum of a few hundred the last time I looked at one, and they are collectible among a certain group of people. Well-made.

I can't give you much on the first gun but the engraving, in my opinion, looks Eastern. Probably Ottoman if I had to guess. I could be completely wrong but I've seen similar engraving styles on Ottoman muskets.

Yeah, give Rick a call and let his expert give an estimate. And then Rick will probably offer you $20 or some other ridiculous offer, and talk your item down so much that it would seem you should be paying him to take it from you.
