Pay for the transfer, BOS do nothing

I think that making a half ass effort ( which is not required by law) to qualify a buyer of a firearm can be used by a prosecutor, Defense atty or CIVIL ATTY. to make you liable for a gun's actions after it left your possession. That Atty could make the arguement that if you were attempting to qualify that buyer then why didnt you use an FFL transfer ?
Its the same as qualifying a driver that is buying a car from you.
To me its a stupid thing to do if you are attempting to protect yourself.

The only thing required to transfer title on a car is the signoff on the back of the title itself is my experience. Regardless, it wasn't just the car thing. I was really speaking about anything of value that is bought/sold.... It's not a problem for me if someone won't do a BOS on a gun they want to buy, because it won't be one they get from me if I ask for one.
Yeah....I see all you anti-BOS'ers and just have to laugh at the lengths you'll go to in order to ridicule someone....have fun with it, I don't care. You wouldn't be getting a gun from me anyway.
The guns that I've bought from private sellers, I've actually volunteered showing my CL. I don't see a problem flashing it to make the sale. On the other hand, if they want to give me a BOS, then let's go to a LGS and get their name on the transaction also.
i dont buy from any of the the guys on here that do the BOS thing or the junior G-man ID checks or CCW checks, I figure they are the same guys that stash blue strobes in their grill and play LEO on weekends.
I find it strange behavior and separate myself from it.
