I work most weekends, but I'll stay in touch with the thread.
We use to catch catfish all night long out of a pond up here, but those days are gone.
So I have no idea where to go.....

Me neither. I go to a place in Conyers called lakeside lake. It's a carp and catfish lake.
Who and why would you wanna catch carp?

Are you wanting to go somewhere and fish all night, or are you looking for a getaway for a night or two?
I could do either one with enough notice. (I work most weekends now, but I make my own schedule.)
It's been a long time since I sat around a fire, drinking a little and waiting for a rod to bend.
Even the nights that were slow are good memories though......
I have no use for the carp either, well after I fight them in.

Carp fishing tournaments and the great fight of the bigger carp are why most folks do it...

I was thinking a friday night. Fish all night till saturday morning. The place I fish does not allow alcohol, and is very clean
