Why should we be happy about our government wasting and ruining the lives thousands of men that were used as fodder to grease the skids of the banking military industrial complex war machine? Can't we just leave the vets alone rather than remind them that their bravery and sacrifice did not benefit the American people in any way?

My dad served in the Navy in WW2, as a UDT member in Korea, but really wanted to fly. So he joined the fledging helo group and learned. He did three tours in Vietnam, two with the 1st Cav. I'll drink to his memory today, I was on call yesterday.
