Old Shotgun info needed

Check carefully on the bottom of the barrels further toward the muzzle. There should be more proof marks. Should be some numbers that will show chamber/choke.

2.5 inch shells are relatively easy to come by, several companies make them. (well in normal times anyway)

Your choice as to whether you want to lengthen the chambers. For a bird gun, there is no significant difference in performance.

Not sure how to tell the type of firing pin
Bushied firing pins are a hallmark of a high quality gun as the face erodes around the firing pin with time (shooting) and is difficult to repair. Bushings are much easier, but still have to be smoked in for the correct fit. The action of a properly fitted gun will not close on even a .004" thick zig-zag paper.
