Okay I'm into watches again. Post your favorite models

Question for watch lovers:

Does anybody make a tough watch that comes with a tough wristband one with pins that are twice as thick as what we see on standard watch wristbands?

Preferably with a complete case made of stainless steel not just the case backing plate, and the crystal slightly recessed so it won't scratch the glass if it ends up upside down on a hard surface.
There are a few options, it depends on the styling you're looking for. If you find a watch you like, heavy duty spring bars (pins) and bands are available from many online sellers.

The first watch that came to mind is the Ares mission timer, starting at $695 with a quartz movement.

It's expensive for what you're getting, but if you're happy with the build quality and styling don't let that deter you.

If you like the styling take a look at this Citizen Brycen:

It has a time tested eco-drive movement with a solar rechargeable battery and can be had for about $275. There are also different colors available.
Shinolas are very nice, great quality, and heavy. Friend has one and loves it. I just can’t see spending that much on a watch.
Haven’t seen that one. Nice! I currently have an eco-drive and love it. It’s about 5yrs old now.

Okay it's been a while since I saw this thread. Where do start? Well today I wore my Seiko 5 auto that I won on ebay last month. The dieal looks black in the pic but it's actually emerald green. A little on the small side as fas as case diameter but it's an early 80s vintage which kind of explains it.

For some reason I got on a Skagen kick a few months ago. One is more of a mesh bracelet dress watch. Usually not i to that style but it was so thin and cool looking.
Then I saw they has a few "Dive Style" watches. The one I picked has black case and dial along with a bright blue rubber strap. Yeah it's a quartz watch but it was under $70.00 new in the box with shipping. I call it my "Florida Watch".

And here is my plain old Casio Duro which is also quartz and under $50.00 new . But it's got a threaded crown and I believe 200 meters of water resistance. I replaced the horrible plastic/rubber strap with a shark mesh bracelet from ebay. I dig these shark mesh bracelets so good I ordered 2 more in black and don't even have watches for them to go on.
Been bidding on vintage Seikos and Citizens a lot lately. I have 2 Citizens on the way but both from India so maybe by October. Then I noticed all the ones I have won have green dials. Gotta change up to a white or black dial. But seriously, what I really need to do is save up my spare change for a blue dial Oris Aquis.
