Yes,
60% les weight and 40% less rolling friction. Good for about 1/2 of .10 of a second.

For reference, at my level .5 seconds would cost me about $2500 in parts not including machine work...

Seems to me that most could take 20-30 lbs off of the rider for a lot less that taking 20-30 lbs off the bike. Regardless, I love the technology.
