If you're good enough, rain is irrelevant. You shoot between the raindrops.
Funny enough I have shot out to just under 700 yards in poring down rain like buckets where being droped and I hate to say It had no effect but it had no noticeable effect on point of impact.
I sent email to the CMP Park and asked about the rain for Saturday, here is their reply:
Hey Mr. Xxxx,
The Range will be open even if it rains, but if there is lightning we are required to go cold for thirty minutes after each lightning strike. Can’t wait to see you guys.

Rain ok. Lightning bad. Lightning very bad. Uses up precious range time.
Lets all pray to the LORD, that all the rain covering the great State of Alabama has moved on to the great yonder by Satidy mawnin.
Funny update, my wife who is scared to death of guns (married to me...it's funny) has agreed to go with me. This is going to be interesting!
Just for her I'll bring a steyr carbine with surplus ammo only.
if she thinks firearms are scary then i can bring my little beretta 950, the 25 acp is recoil-less and with hearing protection on makes very little noise and i'll have a 22 rifle she can shoot she pleases ( i got a little girl to enjoy shooting with the rifle after she got over her fear of rifles due the zero recoil and little noise)
I've offered her my 10/22 and she refused.....we doing anything to identify ourselves while we are there?
