My chili wouldn't be the same cooked in anything else . They're heavy but worth it. Love my solid stainless pans but I can't beat my old cast iron stuff

Can't beat cast iron cookware.

You can cook IN them and you can flip it over and cook on the bottom like a grill.

One of my favorite cooking tools. Cheap is relative and like pretty much everything you normally get what you pay for. Price some of the smithey pans or a griswold compared to the Ozark trail ones at Walmart. Treat it right and it will last you many lifetimes though.
