We are having another Oath Keepers meeting soon for those who wish to learn more about our organization.

Save the date.
OCT. 19th. At 2pm at the Cherokee Cattle Company

With the successful removal of the barricades at the war memorials in D.C. so the veterans could honor their war dead, and our continuing effort to keep the war veterans' monuments open, we have had lots of positive interest in our organization.

We know there are sceptics and folks who have heard negative things about us like, we are a militia. We are NOT a militia and do not allow militia members in our group. Our mission is to remind those in the military and the police to honor the oath they took to defend the Constitution. We have added to that mission lately to include preparations for emergencies and natural disasters. Many of us are CERT trained and many others have been trained in disaster relief through their military training.

Our expanded mission will focus on helping people in our communities to be as self sufficient as they choose to be in anticipation of any emergency. Our members have vast numbers of skill sets. We have medical professionals, communication specialists, engineers, security contractors, power generation specialists and the list keeps growing.

This group is getting stronger than ever and is becoming more visible at the community level. This visibility is not meant to scare, intimidate, or incite anyone to violence of any kind. We are becoming more visible to assist in the communities where we live, work, and play.

We know the prepping community is prepared or is preparing for emergencies that may affect them and hats off to you. We are paralleling that preparedness mind set but focusing on those who are unable to prepare for themselves. We are, at our own cost, developing plans to assist others if they wish, with training and other resources at our disposal. We want the people to rely on each other and not to wait in a line for Government cheese. Fema cannot be everywhere nor should they be. We should be our own disaster relief. We did not have Fema several years ago and prior to Fema the world did not fall apart because people banded together in the communities where they lived and managed the problem together.

I hope to see you at the meeting
Bring your questions, comments, and a friend.

Can someone who used to be active duty but is now just a lowly reservist going to school attend?

You are welcome anytime.
If you served your country and took an Oath to defend the Constitution, you are encouraged to join. If you just want to learn more about us, come by and talk.
We should have a few other members from around the state to answer any questions you may have.
I suggest going to the site and look for your self whether this is the group for you.

WE ARE NOT A MILITIA. Just to be up front. WE DO NOT ALLOW MILITIA MEMBERS IN THE OATH KEEPERS.

Hope to see you there.

Look forward to seeing you there.

How did the meeting go? Good turnout?

The meet went well, and had the pleasure of speaking with some current members and a prospective member. We shared ideas and perspectives about history, government, and freedom.
There were questions, answers and historical contexts discussed as well. Rain was a limiting factor, but those who said they would be there showed up and demonstrated the character we expected from our members. Good fellowship and the food was great. Overall a good day.
