I went thru the North Avenue Trade School (77-80) at the time of the end of classic slide rules and the advent of the new TI-57 that nearly every other student bought. I was on the GI bill and couldn't afford one -yet. We had a Chem 101 final that had a problem of moles, molecules, Avagadro's Number, etc. which the professor had specifically designed to be accomplished by a slide rule. I looked around the lecture hall at all the students with the TI-57s and they were puzzled why their calculators all flashed "E's".....it was a simple problem with slide rule, however..I can work a slide rule dang near as fast as you can use a calculator
B, wow! Are you like God? Happy trails and may God bless America.
Use a rotary phone too.
