Finally got all of the parts & time to add the Texas Weapon System railed dust cover to my "working Mak".

Won't know for sure till we have some range time but I think I'm going to like it.

The Bushnell optic is a low cost option, very comparable to but much more affordable than my Aimpoint Micro T-1.
It co-witnesses perfectly w/ the peep sight but I have to find the "sweet spot". It does offer quick acquistion though.

I'll see how it stands up to recoil but when "economic considerations" allow I will add another Aimpoint or move the one I have.
The main point is now there are traditional rail options as opposed to forward mounted options which arem't my personal favorite.

I've mounted two of them.
The first one took 45 minutes, the second less than 30.
The peep might aperture is a little small so I think I will widen it some.
I like it because it offers a comparable sight picture w/ traditional AR sights.
