I do all my hunting on Fort Gordon. They do a lottery every year for people to hunt there. Definitely worth it. Costs around 50 bucks and they have 44k acres of hunting land. There are a couple wma's close. I might be able to work taking you onto Fort Gordon after I'm feeling better. Covid is whooping my ass right now.
Man that would be great, and yeah Covid is no fun, my number is 985-951-9601 and the names Taylor, any help is greatly appreciated

Hello, my name is Taylor, and I just recently moved to the Augusta Georgia area, and was looking for some advice on how to get into hunting around the area, I have only hunted a few times on private land, and really enjoyed it, I am looking for a lease or some suggestions on where to begin. Any information would be very helpful.

Thank you
Welcome aboard.

Lots of good advise here. Taking the hunter's safety course sounds like a good start. And you can ask the instructor for more info. Also get a copy of hunting regs.
