New Scammer tactic

I've seen this several times and have reported the posts. I don't think the mods did anything about it, either.

They certainly are prone to allowing a lot more leeway when it is an ad, that's for sure.

I just reported a user, tried to sell me a LMT bolt for way less than going price, used pictures off of AR15.com, searched google for # he gave me, several reports on that # being a scammer.

I know some shy away from BOS, but even a simple one listed will deter some of that. I’ve had a recent shady dealing and it’s the first I’ve had on here and I’ve decided to now require a simple BOS for serialized stuff bought in my name. If it deters some legit buyers I’m willing to sacrifice that at this point to keep myself clear.

After speaking with a couple of officers in my zone I work, it gives them something to track the movement of a weapon if it’s used in a crime. If I sell it and that person uses it in a crime I’ve got info on time and place of sale though not notarized or anything like that.
