New Build for my Hoe!

Specs on Cam 227/241@ .050 283/303 duration @.563/546 lift W/109LSA.. LS9 valve springs..
let me know what kind of idle you get out of her. putting a 5.3 in the wagon with a t5 behind it.
at 1800lbs and the 5.3 in the 330 hp range, power to weight with be pretty good. but it just deserves a nice lopey idle.

with that cam it hit hard chop at around 850 rpm.. with good heads it should be close to 400 hp. Im going to install a BTR stage 3 in the 6.0 it will go well with my Yank 3000 converter but if you have a manual best get a center force clutch or equivalent.. you will need it..1800 lbs that should be fun!

the new cam going in next weekend is a Elgin sloppy stage 2 283/286 228/230 @.50 .585 lift thump stick...this should chop nicely! should make close to 540 at the fly wheel and a good 375/425 at wheels

I wish I had the ability to do this. I love this type of stuff. I can build a building and turn wrenches but it always scares me to get into a motor that far.

Dude you can do it... minor mechanical abilities for most of this stuff. Get one take it apart watch some vids on YouTube ask some questions, make some mistakes.. learn and done! These LS motors are super simple... it’s the electronics that complicate beginners.. but we all work through it.
