Need help with this thing.
I got this gun finally completed as of a couple of weeks ago. Wanted to shoot for free so I waited until I got to the country to send some down range. I got my OEM 33rnd round mags loaded and, charged it, and the bolt didn't go forward all of the way. Almost like the round wasn't entering the barrel. Quite odd.
I cleared that round and tried it again. Same thing. OK......
I took it to a local gun store/range, and the guy stated it was probably my buffer. Its heavy as hell...maybe 8 oz straight from PSA. thought changing that would help.it didn't.
We oiled it up, (put original buffer back in) and she would cycle a round or 2 with no issue, and then it would happen again (failure to feed). Im hearing it may be the feeding ramp, which was polished, but that didnt fix it. Then i heard It may have been how the barrel was chambered. At that point i reached out to the supplier where they advised they didnt have any issues (after i sent the part back), AND they confirmed we were using the same lower, so they dont understand. I advised them of the issues and the indentations that were showing up on a few rounds i saved from the range to show them. They werent able to assist. So im hoping someone here can help me save my AR9.
Any thoughts? Thanks for your time.
