Need help choosing 308 dies

I like hornady dies because of the bullet guide that helps it to seat straight. I use Lee factory crimp afterwards for my semi auto.

Your right.. the forster dies are hard to come by. Out of stock everywhere. A buddy of mine has a set of redding type s full length dies he is willing to part with. Has anyone had any experience with this die? A lot of the people on the reloading forums seems to like them.

redding makes great dies. I use quite a few.

Type-S dies are really nice. I use a set for 20 practical and 20 vartarg. redding dies are just really expensive...but very high quality.

i agree with frankmako in general -- brand does not really matter --
i have rcbs, herters, pacific, lachmiller, ch, harper, ghs, and probably a few others -- they all do the job --

If you are going to compete in accuracy games with either gun, you will need to load specifically for that gun. Two competition guns = two loads.
