I just finished doing my first HK VP9. I did a full recoat and while I had it apart, I did the trigger springs. 2 Comments:
  • The spring kit works! I loved this pistol before and now it is even better!
  • This is beyond a doubt, on of thardest pistols I have ever worked on. The Germans put a LOT of stuff inside this one and disassembly is a bear, but assembly is downright a PITA.
Anyone else feel different?

Amen to #2

Try an FN if you want some real gunsmithing fun.

Their trigger cage takes at least three hands to work on, and if you don't drive some of the pins out correctly you can crack the frame.

It’s way too complex inside. I had to go really slow when I did my trigger job.
