Yeah....I wish my son could do that for me. But he has his own problems. Lives in NYC...... I kept telling him to leave that hellhole but he likes it... Go figure...

I use a small transfer pump run by 2AA batteries cost about 25$ on Amazon. To dangerous to transfer fuel from the 5 gallon gas can to the Genny...I do it after I turn it off but,,It's to much of a pain to do it another way, with these new gas cans.. I am also going to go from an electric stove to a gas stove and hopefully go to, on demand gas water system..

I'd like to get ahold of that human factors/OSHA/safety goon/lawyer a$$hole who dreamed up those new gas cans and ring his bell with a sledge hammer, myself...

No natural gas up here on this mountain, propane only. When we built our house up here in the North Georgia mountains we put in a Jotul wood burning stove and a Generac generator.

I had a Chimney sweep come out the begging of last year. Have not lit it up yet with my Bride here I could not take the chance..I may this year, just to poor a good bourbon and put on some native flute music and sit by the fire and chill..
