Muscle trucks have grown in popularity because it is typically the least expensive way for someone to get into a rear wheel drive vehicle that is powered by a V8 that makes torque... regular cab trucks make the best Muscle Trucks.

I drove Pontiac GTO type cars when I was a young man... loved the cars but I am unwilling to pay what people want for them today. I was itching for V8 power so I started looking at muscle trucks about 5 years ago when they could be had for not much money. I found this rear wheel drive regular cab (381 hp / 401 lb-ft) 5.7L Toyota Tundra almost 4 years ago, purchased for $5K and I have been personalizing it ever since.

It could use 80 additional horses under the hood and a better rear suspension for the street, but it's pretty damn good as is and it scratched my itch. Some domestic Muscle Trucks can be had with a manual transmission, not an option for Tundra V8's so I settled for a 4 speed automatic with two over-drives. The towing package comes with a 4.30 rear gear, and stock trucks are capable of a six second 0 to 60 on street tires. My truck weighs a little less than 5000 pounds

Let's see your Muscle Truck.

Yeah I guess you could call it a muscle truck. Mine's a 2017 F150 with the 5.0 Coyote. Makes just under 400hp/400ftlbs stock. With minor mods and an E85 tune I could be close to 450hp.

It's funny because back in the early 2000's I had a '95 Camaro Z28 with the 275HP LT1 350. I thought it was quick. My F150 4x4 on 35" tires is quicker
