This is a really good, although a bit long, article.
Written by someone from Argentina, as he experienced things during their recent economic collapse.

Definitely gives you things to think about. SHTF is not always a meteor crash, or complete loss of power for months on end.
It is worth 20 or 30 minutes of your time, even if you think you are already good to go.
