Military vet looking for a job

I'm a 5 year navy veteran, and a two year private contract security operator. I just moved to Dallas from Nashville and need a job.

What career field are you looking to get in to?

Check with the GA DOL, they have veteran specialists who know military friendly companies. Home Depot is one of them.

Also believe it or not, reach out to Veterans groups like the American Legion and VFW. The old guys want to help out!

I was a helicopter air crewman / Sar swimmer for the navy. I then worked as a security contractor for a maritime security company.
I have some tile, drywall, and paint experience working for my stepfather.
