DANG!!! I haven’t priced ammo on neither of those….that’s nutz. The gun may be affordable, but the 6.5 PRC cartridge sells for about five bucks per shot!

The Hornady 6.5 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge) is a "magnumized" 6.5 Creedmoor. It offers about 250 feet per second more velocity than the 6.5 Creedmoor for any bullet weight chosen.www.gunsandammo.com

LOL.I once (a few years ago) saw a sporting goods store put a .375 Holland & Holland magnum rifle on sale cheap-- like $400.
I thought about buying it and just one box of ammo:
To shoot it 10 times, and put it away with the other 10 rounds to use "just in case"
... in case I get a squirrel in the attic or something.
I figured it would be an Awesome rifle. Thanks!!This is an awesome rifle, and that price is great. I paid right at $600 for mine in that caliber. 6.5PRC is my favorite caliber right now, and yes at the moment the ammo is a little high, but it is a round that screams to be reloaded.
