Learning about mandrel sizing and in theory it sounds like a superior way of sizing. Anyone currently use this method have any tips or advice on it? Also if you recommend it what equipment do you recommend

At what range did the groups go down 2”, 100, 600, 1000? I’ve been happy with my RCBS Competition dies for years, but shaving 2” at 600 would be significant.I use a wilson mandrel die for 308 and soon precision 223. Shrunk my groups by 2 inches. Haven't used an expander ball since.
I hadn’t thought about it before, but if you know how far the shoulders are getting bumped as we should, theoretically you could trim before sizing making everything easier. That alone would be worth it for volume match rifle.Tagged for info. I don't see a huge gain from it but I'm willing to be "convinced" otherwise.
