Made one of the Publix standing rib roasts today.

Down in Florida, so I don’t have a grill. Cooked it in the oven, then reverse seared it on a griddle.

Mine is in cooling stage my first attempt.
Cooked on 500 in oven at 6 mins a pound and cut off and not open oven for 2 hours,used a rub of garlic and crushed peppercorns.(ordered off internet didn’t go heavy)
Recipe was given to me from a chef stated it will come out at medium rare 135-140 every time
We will see around 6:30 this eve

This - I do 5 minutes a lb @500 degrees and then 2 hours with oven door closed - I've done several this way and they're always perfect.

This one was slightly overcooked for some reason.....still looks delicious.
