M1A info

I purchased the rifle. It is serial # 0265** which should make it born in 1983. It has NM front and rear sights and a TRW GI bolt. I have not striped it down yet but, it looks to be a all GI parts gun so far. I guess someone took the walnut stock off and put the fiberglass one on it. SA said they would get back to me and let me know what info they find.

I have 0255 in the original stock
 
I'll say this about the NM. I got a rifle from my father still in its original box with the serial numbers attached notating it to be a NM, but according to Springfield the serial number denotes standard.

The gun has a 1:10 stainless barrel, nm sights, nm trigger, but is not bedded in its walnut stock.
