Lots of ants on outside of truck

I made the mistake of parking under a crepe myrtle tree and have ants all over the outside of my truck. I have washed several times but they just keep showing up.

Does anyone have an idea of how to get them off? additive to rinse water, etc.? fire is not an option

Park it in the sun. After a few days, ants gone.

I had an ant nest in the tire well of a car once.

Find the nest, and the entry points. Put a healthy dose of this out. Wait 3 days.

Use Pump up sprayer w/ 2 tablespoons of DAWN dishwashing liquid per gallon of water.
Wet the truck, Spray w/ sprayer of DAWN, Rinse truck.
OK-BYE-O ants!!

You might try spraying insect killer on the underside near tires, in wheel wells or other likely entry points.

I bought pine straw bales once, that were full of ants. So many were all over my truck, that I sprayed it with bug spray. Hosed it off later and then washed it. It worked...they were dead & gone.
