Hi ODT,

I am looking for a job ASAP (I can start on Oct 25th). I am happy to work and like to work. If I can help you out short term or long term doesn't matter. Nothing is below me. I can do office jobs or labor (but I am getting older and I got a few pounds on me).

I have a wife and a kid and enjoy spending time with them, the ideal work hours would be 8 am to 5 pm, but I can work while they sleep.

I will show up on time/early, work hard, get the job done well, and if it's beyond my abilities I will let you know.

If you send me an email address I can send you a PDF of my resume. Below is most of it. If you have any leads please let me know and be happy to share this with anyone who can help or would be interested.

Amazon is hiring I believe 5000 people in Georgia. It might be entry level but it is a foot in the door. You appear to be directed to a goal and a hard charger.

When I retired from the Air Force I wanted to be a Toys R Us store manager. They said they didn't hire that way. I came on as a seasonal cashier. Two weeks later, department head. A week later running the security booth. Two months later competing for a manager slot against a lot of other hard chargers. Ended up as manager of the store I started at in Union City and did very well.

Start off, get your foot in the door and then the sky is the limit.

****, I done dialed it back to a one man show. Built my shop on my property and try to do work for other folks mostly these days.
I went from a 6,000sf building with 15 employees to a 1400sf building with just me and somehow I make about the same money. It could be the the 30-40k a month that I don't have to come up with just to stay open.
The old and wise Appalachian American Appalachian American told me one time (probably many times) "I can be broke without a sore back". He was right, I'm still broke, but I don't have near the headaches.

Best of luck on your search for work Marine. These days the willingness to show up makes you an A+ employee

There's a lot of intel out there saying Amazon doesn't promote from within though.

I didn't know you dialed it back so much. That is good in a way. Back in the day when I was self employed it was the only way I would fly.
