Im looking for a 14' or larger aluminum boat with a trailer. I dont need any motor of any type. I have cash or firearms to trade. Looking for something in the $800 - $1000 range in the NW Ga area.

Good morning,

If I end up selling the motor off my Alumacraft, I'd have the boat & trailer for sale.

It's a SOLID built Alumacraft, 15 foot; and 52" width (measured at the bottom---it's wider on top). It's a V-Hull Boat. Zero leaks. Has a bimini top, 3 bench rows...original wood on top of the benches, which a couple pieces are getting weathered and can be replaced for $20 worth of wood. Trailer has brand new tires and walk out platform (which is nice launching because you don't get wet.) I've used it at the chattahoochee river and even at South end of lake lanier on a weekend.....scary with the 2 foot wakes and waves on a crowded lake, but it managed just fine.
This is a circa 1957 alumacraft --- which is solid as they come and will outlive all of us. It cost something like $500 back in 1957 just for the boat (not including the trailer). Again, solid and was very $$$$ when new.

Only reason why i would consider selling is if I sell the motor on the boat, i'd sell the boat/trailer and upgrade to something slightly bigger for my needs - probably a center console. Minimum, i'd be at the top of your price range of $1000. I'd really want more $$$$...but for $1000 and no hassle with tire kickers and craigslist ppl, i'd ponder it. But I could not sell for a penny less.

PLEASE NOTE: Motor has to sell FIRST to consider selling the boat/trailer combo.

No rush at all to sell. The new 18' G3 boat I would like is $25-30k with the options, and it is nearly impossible to find a late model G3 the way I want for under $20k. This boat works just fine, just slightly too small for what I want.

NOTE: Though I may just build a casting platform for this ole girl, which might be a better option. If I decide on doing that and purchase the materials, i'll withdraw the offer of selling it.

Thanks.
