I went 106MPH in a 21 Allison hull on the Tennessee river back in 1992, they are a great boat.

That’s awesome!! I still have to learn to drive it. It wants to chine walk at close to 70. I need to get out on a calm day and just run around and play with trim and throttle and get a feel for it.

this film is from the late 70s, Mr Glen Remolds topped 117 In 1977 I think it was, that record has been broken many time since and all By Alllisons, The river run up in Tennessee was dominated by Allison boats for many years, The speeds are recorded in 2 runs, one up the river then one coming back down and the speeds are averaged out. I did 106.2 but was no where close to the speeds the other boats were going, The winner in our class that year I went was 124.5 The worlds record now is 129+ for a bass boat hull under 21 ft. I wish I still had pics of the boat I drove, It was red n gold and fast...
