pros and cons I think I’m fixen to bite the bullet.

No cons. I've been using it about a month now and it is everything I thought it would be and more. I've found fish that I would not have found otherwise on a lake that I fish 200 + days a year.

Go ahead and get the Perspective mount. I find that I use that mode about 75% of the time.

You running Garmin or lowrance

My brother fishes the pro-am bass Midwest circuit and he uses the Garmin for the live scan, lowrance for down scan and charts and hummingbird for side scan. From what I understand the Garmin has the best “live scan”.
