Used to slay the white bass about half way between the old bridge and the 575 bridge. But that was back before there was a 575 bridge! Had some luck catching spots downstream from there where the waterfall cove, river and lake all meet up. Lot of structure there back towards the waterfall.

my best friend down in FL was the same way.
there was this tele pole that stuck up about 6ft out of the water right.
well if you could bump the pole and let it drop like inches away, you knew you
were going to get a fish on the drop. swear that boy made that pole look like a damn christmas tree
every damn week. all types of lures stuck on there.
