The responding officer only knows what the 911 caller reported. It might be your spiteful ex lying on you and reporting you as an armed homicidal maniac. You weren't any of that, but the officer has no way of knowing that until they secure the scene to start asking questions. Easy to be judgmental of the officer until you're the one put into that situation.

What about unlawful orders? Cops are merely government employees who do what they are ordered. The idea of any "oath of office" is long gone.
