Nice.

So which is your favorite? And no LE6920? Thanks!

Im trying to get time to Post my favorite I own. Likely tomorrow evening.

My new favorite is the M4A1 (Purchased in January, still in Jail). Prior to that is that M16A4. Most expensive by now is the SMG. All three of those came from Colt's gun room. They were all privately purchased from Colt in 2013-2014. All of the receivers were registered by the Colt executives in 1985 as auto A2s. Even the SMG is registered as a 9mm A2, since it was too new for the ATF to classify it as something else. All three receivers were put away. Two of them stamped as M16A2's, one as an SMG. The SMG is serial number 9, and they put that receiver on the assembly line in 2003. M4 in 2007 and M16A4 in 2008. Back in the mid 80s, the Navy wanted an Auto not burst A2. They had MK18s which they cobbled together from a 10-10.5" barreled upper and an M16A1 lower. They wanted the structurly sound lowers of the A2 but in auto not bust. Colt did a special run for the Navy in 1985. Colt executives though it was special enough to register a few dozen auto stamped A2 revivers right before the ban and put them away. Once the Navy got the A2 autos, the Army wanted some, so Colt created the A3, which was the Auto A2 with fixed carry handle. Then in the late 90's early 2000s created the A4, which was the Auto A2 with Flat top upper. Back in 2013-14 I picked up the SMG and A4 for 30k each. I wanted an M4 as well, and found one three years ago from the same Colt collection. He just picked it up before I could. He was asking 40K which is reasonable, but I had a rare sub-gun that I had two of that he always wanted, so we worked out a trade. Value wise, the A4 and M4 are around 40K each right now. The SMG is closer to double that since there they came out right before the ban and only 23 were registered, mine being a single digit serial number. As far as LE6920, that was my first Colt rifle, that got me loving Colt. It was one I saved my pennys for as a broke college student and picked up for 1K in 2004. It was my woods gun, and when Obama got elected, the price of mine was double. My LE6920 had the restricted rollmark on the magwell, and sold it on GB for 1900. If I had as much money then as I do now, I certainly would of kept it, and it probably would of been my most sentimental Colt. My 2nd/current fave is the modified LE6933. I use that thing everywhere. The M4A1 will be my last favorite. The A4 and SMG is cool and all, but I got to pick one to take to the grave. That means shooting and using it everyday like it was my LE6920 or 6933. So long story short, my favorite Colt Rifle went from 6920 to 6933 to now M4A1.
