Tried it a while back and loved it! There smoke will penetrate the shell and give them a really nice flavor. They will dehydrate if left too long but they still taste good.

Whole Chicken, ribs, bacon wrapped chicken thighs, eggs and sausage on the smoker. Cesar salad and teriyaki veggies.

Do you just smoke them, or pan fry or something afterwards? Does smoking them make them like a boiled egg?

I put them in raw, they come out hard cooked in the shell. Kind of like boiled but with a great flavor. I always intend to pay attention to time and temp next time but never time hasn't come yet.... also intended to make deviled eggs but they don't seem to ever last that long.
