Yes. That gun was handled and put on public display during congressional hearings in the middle 1970s.

I recognize Texas senator John Tower in one of the pics.

SIDE NOTE: The projectile it fired must have been really tiny. They say that it might feel like a mosquito bite to a person being hit with it. So...if the projectile has such little mass, it must not have very long of a range. Air resistance and all that.

Why in the world would it need a scope on the handgun ?
