Let’s play the “What is it?” game!

Great. I have a gun in mind to post here, but first let me try searching this thread, and even this whole forum, to see if it's been done already. I haven't really been following the progress of this game much, just reading a bit here and there.

Also, if I find the gun hasn't been done already, I'll have to find a really clear picture of it, but if the writing on it is readable and gives away the make and model, I'll have to redact that somehow to make it a "gray gun" so to speak. (It's not a crime to erase the serial number and other manufacturer's markings on a PICTURE of a gun, right? ;)

My guess:
S&W model of 1905 4th change in early victory model but the term "victory" may not have been used at this time. The 6 inch barrel version was not made for any US forces but may have been special ordered by the BRITS or another allied nation.
That big white-filled logo mark is some importers logo; it was re-mported at some point back to the USA for the civilian market.
