Thinking of trying them to raise a Frontier Pro 4 rear end when towing a camper.

I have used airshocks before, they worked great. Would definitely use them before I went to modifying the springs.

Super Spring makes a nice kit. Adjustable preload settings. But can be noisy. I would do airbags(airlift or firestone). Air them up as needed, maintain a factory ride when aired down

Get a big enough truck to haul the load you are going to tow.
Doing otherwise is just a gamble, and hoping you don’t get into a situation where you have to avoid an accident and maneuver suddenly. That in itself will likely cause a worse accident.

Used them in the 90's on a Dakota. Worked well and didn't do anything until a load on them.

Try and find a load e tire. Probably what you are feeling is sidewall flexing.
Did that on suburban for towing and made a BIG difference

Drove plenty overloaded trucks in my day. I used to make a living moving stuff. As said before, get a big enough truck to do the job makes the best sense. Anything else could be dangerous
