I am getting into 300BO reloading and decided to buy a little cutoff jig for use with a 2" trim saw. While looking around for a jig and trying to decide which specific model to pick up I noticed on eBay somebody selling one that appeared to be 3D printed. I checked, sure enough there was a 3D model (actually several) for download out there so I printed this last night. Cost me a whopping $.53 worth of plastic to print! It just clamps in the little vise on the cutoff saw. Manually move it side to side to set the OAL you want. If it gets destroyed I'll print a new one!

I think it's SO cool what can be done with those machines...I have a friend at work that printed me a set of grips for a 1908 Colt hammerless...

I've created a few things for 3d printing if anyone needs .stl files.

1) Ruger 10/22 tenon and front sight protectors. if you store spare 10/22 barrels these are little covers for each end. i had couple of spares so cheap protection.

2) Dead Air Mask tool- I found one for a Dead Air Ghost and figured I could use the same for the Mask. Makes it easy to tighten and loosen the end cap.

3) Frankford Arsenal brass catcher. Just a small plate that covers the top of the FA case prep tool so that brass shavings don't all fall down into the internals and easier to clean up. Don't have a photo of this, can't remember if I finished getting the holes in the right spot/size. But pretty sure I did. :)

4) primer pocket tool tray- small block with maybe 10 holes in it to hold brass cleaning tools. Small pocket

5) Shell Holder holder- small tray with short columns to hold shell holders for reloading. I have 15-20 shell holders and always looking for them...

I've downloaded a bunch of other stuff- Hornady Comparator/Headspace gauge holders, case gauge to check to see if 5.56 and 300BO need trimming, Dillon 550 toolhead holders, etc. I just started to get some 300BO stuff and printed the jig last week and bought the Chop saw. Now to buy some extra LC brass to convert.

If anyone has found something really useful or made something themselves, post it up and a link to the stl files if possible.

Also I made a throw lever for a Burris XTR II that I sold recently. Not sure how durable it was (I have only been printing with PLA and PLA+ so far, Ender 3 pro) but seemed to work well the times I used it.

FYI if anyone is thinking about buying a printer, MicroCenter had the Creality Ender 3 Pro on sale for like $210. Would be glad to provide tips and tricks to getting it set up properly.

Very nice. I think a dremel and one of the small cutting discs w/the bracketing hardware would make easy work of some brass!

Awesome post @FMG

Just because, A) I'm bored because of this virus madness, and B) I need to cheer up my fellow ODTers, some of whom has lost their jobs or at least taken pay hits, later this afternoon I'm gonna start posting under Giveaways some of this 3D printed stuff. I'll start this afternoon with one of these AR-15 extractor compression jigs since I just picked up the nuts and bolts to actually "finish" a couple last night. I encourage all who are into 3D printing to do the same. There is some cool stuff out there which costs pennies to print. Normally I'd charge a couple of bucks just to cover the cost of supplies (nuts, bolts, plastic, electronic components for some projects) but heck with it, more important to spread good will right now.
