July has been pretty good to me and mine. Didn’t get hot here in Central Texas until last week, and we’ve gotten more rain this summer than any time I can remember in the last 25 years. I am looking forward to cooler weather, and replenishing the venison in the freezer. If I play my cards right, I’ll still have some left by the time gun season starts here. I hope everyone else here has had a good summer so far!
