King Ranch seats

I believe Ford stopped using the unsealed Castano leather in 2009 and went to Chaparral. Both are aniline which means they are dyed with a soluble dye and don't have a top coat like most automotive leather seats. They are more prone to UV damage because of this. They will be more likely to crack, split and stain. You can clean them with warm/hot damp rag and baby shampoo if needed. Allow to dry then use King Ranch Leather Conditioner or a soft hide leather conditioner. You can find both on Amazon. I had a friend who would use Red Wing leather conditioner and loved it on the old saddle type. The new leather is easier to maintain.

Most of the products available today sell you on their wording like PH Balanced or PH Neutral.

thanks guys , it's a 2005 but the previous owner kept them in excellent condition.
I guess the old days or working saddle soap in are gone.
